Photoshop for Students [C-PS-102]

Photoshop is the worldwide standard for photo editing and photo-retouch. Created in 1991, it has now reached version CS4. This introduction class is for users that are approaching Photoshop for the first time and need to pick up the essential editing techniques quickly. Many claim to be able to "use" Photoshop. But how in depth do they know it?

This course is a turning point for those approaching graphic design, but also for those who are already Photoshop users. Expert users may think they can handle the software, but may get confused when they are about to apply a basic Auto Correction. Should you apply Auto Tone, Auto Color or Auto Contrast?

Who should attend?

• This course is designed for self taught and experienced Photoshop user, and new users with basic computer knowledge.

• Advanced colour correction: using channels to optimize contrasts, colors and saturation
• Further Blend Modes: Darken, Lighten, Hard Light, Luminosity, Difference
• Filters to increase micro contrasts: Unsharpen mask, High pass
• Selections: accurate selections with pen tool
• The amazing performances of healing brush and clone stamp
• Dodge/Burn/Sponge: the digital make up
• Colour replacements
• Masking Adjustment Layers
