WDA Approved SDF Funding Labs

Employer-based funding

Through the Skills Development Fund (SDF), employers can enjoy grants for staff training though the funding rate may differ for various courses. Employers will need to apply via the SkillsConnect system to obtain training assistance for course fees. Funding for absentee payroll can be obtained via SkillsConnect.

Eligibility Criteria

The general eligibility criteria are listed as follows:

Companies are registered or incorporated in Singapore
Supportable cost components (such as Course fees) are fully sponsored by companies
Trainees are employees who are either Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents (PR) of Singapore
Trainees have achieved at least 75% attendance and have sat for all examinations if the course leads to certification

Funding Mechanism

Funding is available for 2 types of training, from 1 December 2010:

Certifiable Skills Training (Adobe Certified Associate).
- Course Fee Support - 50% of course fee capped at $15/hr
- Absentee Payroll Support - 80% of hourly basic salary capped at $4.50/hr
Other Training.
- Course Fee Support - $2/hr

Why Lab?

Lab is a color space. It aspires to perceptual uniformity, and its L component closely matches human perception of lightness. Many of the “colors” within Lab space are purely imaginary and cannot be reproduced in the physical world. Lab is math and art in one.

Certificate Policy

As an Adobe Authorized Training Centre, VoxLab participants receive an attendance certificate upon completion of at least 80% of each lab.
